What’s your plan for your company’s 2025 Social Media channels? Do you even have a plan? If not, that’s where you should start. Whether you create (or want to create) content for a small company that services a local area, or your business has a reach over the entire United States, getting your plan together for your social media marketing is most important.
At Green T Design, we run social channels for a wide variety of industries and varying sized companies and have been doing so since 2008. So basically, we’ve seen some things! With all of our experience, we start to see some patterns and social media best practices that stand the test of time. And because we love you, we’re going to share our top tips for social media success. Try incorporating some of these into your plan and see how they work for you.
- Create a plan! Give yourself some goals like 3 posts per week or 1 video per month or even more simple tasks like updating your cover photo, about section, etc. Then stick to that plan.
- Assign the task of social media posting to specific people. Who will be doing this for your company. If you wait for “someone will post”, it’s not going to happen. One person might be enough but if you have multiple events, locations or channels, you may need to split up the job.
- Use a Content Calendar. We’ve created a new one for you to download for FREE and use at your leisure. It’s a great starting off point to get the ideas flowing or just use it as is. Either way, it’s 3 months of content at your fingertips!
- Be consistent! No, you do not have to post every single day, but consistency is key. Algorithms of all social channels tend to reward you when you post more often than not and get engagement on those posts. And your customers like to hear from you when it’s valuable content.
- Take a moment to look at your website. If your ultimate goal is to use social media to push people to buy your products and use your services, make sure your website is in good working order. Does it look good on a mobile device? Do all of your pages load properly? Is your shopping cart working correctly?
Success on social media takes more than one viral post. There are a lot of moving parts, but we’re here to help! First, download our FREE social media content calendar and get your plan together. Then reach out to us if you need support reaching your social media content goals.
